I worked for Williams, Tazewell for 12 years. My first week at the firm, Brad turned 60 and there was a grand celebration at Town Point Club. When the firm was sold to TAF Group in 1996, I charge of the Interior Design department. Brad had a commanding presence and loved his profession and the firm. Brad hired me after I got my degree in Architecture in 1972 and I worked at the Norfolk office and the Beach office for the next two and half years on a variety of projects. My uncle Walter F. Petty, who was also an Architect, worked with Brad's father at Peebles & Ferguson in Norfolk and I remember Brad Sr. coming by the office in Norfolk when I was there.
