Not sure what to say?

Hello Ford,

I only learned of Earl's passing yesterday when I read the obituary in The Colorado Lawyer.

I felt like I had just been stunned by a taser.

Earl is right up there in my books with Santa Claus. I miss him.

You take care.

DEAR FORD
I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT EARL
AND HAVE REMEMBERED HIM IN OUR
PRAYERS. WE HAD MANY GOOD TIMES IN ALTON AND VACATIONS
IN THE ROCKIES.
DON

Earl:

I am so sorry never to have met you but I feel that I know you from conversations I had about you with Ford. She is a very talented and unique person and you were and still are a very special person in her life. I enjoyed talking with you over the phone the one time I did and I know that if you and I had met, we would have had a wonderful time discussing things.

Ford - it was so good to talk with you today and as you already know, you are very much in my thoughts. ...

Earl,
I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I only had to see and feel the glow emanating from Ford whenever she mentioned your name to know that you were a very special person. Rest well.

Earl Hauck was one of life's `good
guys', I shall always remember his
rare wit, and mini-treatises about the
intricacies of `art law' a speciality of
which he was one of the pioneers.
We enjoyed many amusing times
together.

My Uncle Earl was a Pearl! A true Gem of a man. He was the Mayor of Cherry Creek. I miss you so much! So many wonderful memories and stories he would tell us----all of our Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts with Earl and Ford; the house he use to live in that was haunted; stories of him growing up and of my grandparents; always taking care of our legal needs; all of the knowledge he instilled in everyone; A BRILLIANT MIND AND SPIRIT! I loved hearing all of his stories! Those colorful...

He was Guapo to begin until the real "El Guapo" came to be in 1997. Then came various derivatives of Guapo and the final name that stuck was "Iggy." It seemed to fit and we enjoyed calling each other Iggy and various other names over the years. Iggy really enjoyed time spent with family and good friends both of which he had many. Also as most of you reading already know he loved to eat out and enjoy a great meal to celebrate for any reason, birthday or holiday or just an opportunity to...

So long friend. In will remember you as a man's man, your gentle strength in resolve and determination has set an example for myself that will never be forgotten. I know that your light will continue to breathe strenth and confidence into all of our lives.

EARL...Larger than life, your wonderful laugh, the way you touched us. I will always treasure the sweet note you wrote when my Brother Bob died, about a gentleman who would light up a room...you have always been that kind of gentleman. The AfterLife is going to be a lot brighter with you there... You will be missed by us all. Much love to Ford and family. We were lucky to count you as our friend.
