To the Haynes family:

I have known your husband/father since I was a little girl. I've often told my children about him and his friendship with my Dad, Deacon Joseph Harris. They worked together for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad Company. On my last visit home I visited Mr. Haynes before I returned to Germany, one week before he passed.
