I had the pleasure of working with Earl for several years. Although our contact was only on the phone and through email, I was fortunate to get to know him. He was truly a remarkable man. I miss Earl’s wit, his wisdom, and most of all his wonderful sense of humor. My life has been enriched by knowing him. My condolences to his family in this difficult time.

The phrase, “Hale fellow well met” fit Earl perfectly. I had the pleasure to work with Earl for several years at KOLO-TV. Not only was he a consummate pro, he always brought a smile to my face whether just greeting him in the hallway, or working on a project with him. Whenever I had a new joke to try out, Earl’s office was always the first stop on my rounds. I will miss him greatly.

Earl was my father-in-law for 8 years. He was loving and selfless - generous to a fault. His dovotion to his grandchildren was phenomenol. Blessings and prayers to Sylvia and the family as they cope with Earl's sudden death.
