Not sure what to say?

Tomorrow will mark the one year anniversary of my father's death. Mom and I remember him daily with stories, laughter, and love. He was an amazing man and a loving father and husband. We love you Dad.

Dear Josephine and Toni,

I can't quite express how fortunate we are to have had an ever so brief opportunity to know Dr. Newton. He was a remarkable man with an uncanny sense of history and its relevance in the contemporary world. His legacy will live large with all that come into contact with the results of his work.

On behalf of the entire St. Mary's College of Maryland community, our sincere sympathy.

Torre Meringolo

Toni and "Mom" - you know how we feel about you. Our love and prayers are always with you.

We are honored to have the 1949 edition of "The Vermont Story: a history of the people of the Green Mountain State, 1749-1949" on the shelves of the Cortland Free library in the hometown of Dr. Newton.
