Back down the river across the canyon of time he is a shining example of what a state representative can be if he acts responsibly and cares for anyone beyond himself.

I was in New Zealand when Ed passed. I found out about his death upon my return to the US day before yesterday. If the company doctor couldn't help you, Ed would make arrangements for you to visit Scott-White, John Sealy, Houston Medical Center and TIRR. If you didn't have a ride, he'd take you, himself. And if you still didn't get well, Ed continued to call and visit. We have lost a friend. He is missed.
Love to the family from the family of Bill and Alvie Polson.

Ed was a valued friend whom I got to know well during those election years when we were campaigning along side one another. He was a valued public servant, an honorable man. Godspeed Ed Watson. Mike Driscoll, Houston,Texas

He was a fine man, a great help to me as a young lawyer, a good friend as I added some years, always happy and smiling, just like the picture. I will miss him.
