My condolences to Eddie's Family. He was a scouter's scouter.

I can hardly believe it's been 10 years since Eddie's passing. Then, a few years later the heartbreaking loss of wonderful Sharla to cancer. May God bless daughter Marlo & her family and son Ryan & his family.

Mr. Dinsmore was a pleasure to work with at the Inspection Service. He was a man of integrity and kindness. Mr. Dinsmore's presence was missed when he retired. My condolences to the family. May your memories give you some solace in this time of grief. He lived a good, full life.

To the family of Mr. Eddie Dinsmore:

I was very sad, a few months ago, when Nina told me Mr. D was very ill. He was a wonderful person; as busy as he was at work, he always had time to stop by my desk and chat for a few minutes, give me a big smile and ask how things were going. May the Good Lord have you in His keep, surrounded by His angels, Mr. D, you will be missed by many. May the beautiful memories he left you be of comfort to you, Marlo, Ryan, Sharla and the rest of the...

A tree is best measured when it falls. For my friend Eddie there was no need to wait as I along with countless others knew he measured tall and giant in life. During my 17 years as a Postal Inspector in San Francisco Eddie’s office was proximate to mine. I cannot recall a single instance when he was not immersed in work. I spent countless hours in his office interrupting his work listening to his wisdom and seeking his counsel. Eddie was dedicated to his military and postal careers. He was...

My sympathy and prayers are with you, Marlo, Ryan, Sharla, and everyone who knew and cared about "Mr. D," as I and other Inspection Service support technicians knew him. I was privileged to have had several personal talks with him, and he left an imprint of a "true, blue American" - full of character, warmth, and fun. He was such a wonderful story teller; but I guess he never did compile the many anecdotes that I used to encourage him to publish. God bless him. I can just imagine him now...

Eddie will be missed by many people whose have been touch by him. He was a dedicated Scouter. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Many young men will have better life because of Eddie Dinsmore. God Bless

I was so sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. Man, we use to have a lot of fun talking about our Air Force days and he playing football for them too. We also talked about the 49ers and the years when they won the Super Bowls. I remember Sharla too as a PPO at 7th & Mission Sts and she used to come and brighten up my day in the Supply room of the Inspection Service. That was way back in the 1970's and those were some good ole times. My sincerest condolences to Sharla and family. May Eddie's...

Eddie was a PPO Manager when I was a young inspector. He was always very nice and always had a big smile in his face. I am sorry for your loss.
