Not sure what to say?

I have just learned the loss of Mr. Ervin. He was always a man of dignity and inspired many souls as well as my own. I worked for and with him for many years with ryans as did so many of us. I have been caretaking my mother in my home for the last 6 years . I also lost her on October 28. I can understand the sence of loss his family must be going through. I have read his guest book and remember so many of you. I think this says so much of the influence he had on all who knew him and how...

Lee, Lydia, Leslie & Family,
I truly know what you are going through at this time, having lost my mother 3 months ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. "May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you and above all, May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you Peace".

God Bless,
Denice

It was a pleasure to know and work for Mr. Ervin for several years at Ryan's. He was truly a sweet and kind gentle man. He always knew how to make you feel special and had a nice smile.
God be with his family and friends.

I knew Eddie from his days at The Florida Times-Union. I'm proud to have known him and considered him my friend. He will be missed.

Eddie was such a gracious host at his fishcamp in Palm Valley. It's an honor to say he was our friend.

I HAVE A LOT OF GREAT MEMORIES WHILE WORKING WITH MR. ERVIN AT RYAN'S.I WAS VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH HIM AND A LOT OF OTHER GREAT PEOPLE THERE.MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY.

It was a pleasure to work for Mr.Ervin at Ryans . He was such an inspiration and will always be remembered. He treated all his employees with warmth and as if we were members of his family.I still remember his smile! My prayers and thoughts go out to his family.

Thanks to everyone that signs the guestbook for my father.
It is very kind for everyone to remember him.
My family and I, with the help of Community Hospice, took care of him in his final months.
He remained vigorous, alert, and fun even at the end.
