Not sure what to say?

My first days at AC Steer from 1965 on were brightened by Eddie. I've thought of him many times over my adult life and what a joyful and shining role model he was for all of us. His patience and gentle manner made him a natural friend to all. To his family - God bless you all, what a wonderful husband and father to celebrate. Have joy for God has welcomed him with open arms!

Dear Aunt Mae and Cousins. My sincere love, prayers and, condolences go out to you. Uncle Eddie...I will always remember our telephone chats, his laugh, the times we just talked about the good and diffiicult times. Though miles apart I really loved my Uncle Eddie. Love, Nena

To Eddie Jr. I met your father & mother at WK hospital. Very sweet people. I hate not being able to come to his service. God be with you & your family. Your classmate BTW c/o 1971

My prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God bless you all.

To Ms. Regina and the Sykes family may God comfort and strengthen you. My prayers are with you and your family.

To the Sykes Family
Our prayers are with your family on today.

Mrs. Jessie - My sister and I just learned of Mr. Eddie's death. We met you at the rehab facility (our mom's room was across the hall from Mr. Eddie). The love and dedication you displayed for "your baby" of 68 years, as well as the boyish grin he displayed each time he looked at you really warmed our hearts. Now, our hearts are so very heavy and are aching for you and your family. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. We love you Mrs. Jessie.

Mrs. Taylor's Daughters

Our sympathies to the family. We both have very fond memories of "Mr.Ëddie" from our elementary school days. May the Lord Bless you and keep you~Joe and Liz Spell
