Not sure what to say?

While going to the U of A in the 80's, I had the pleasure of caddying for Mr. Shaieb on a regular basis for several years, along with Dennis Behan and Bennie Klimist. Their collective generosity allowed me the time and means to graduate. I have many fond memories of their comaraderie on the golf course. "The Fry Cook" (as Mr. Behan often called Mr. Shaieb) was always the consummate gentleman, but had a very competitive side that I got to know as we walked and talked down the fairway. ...

Chuck (Charlie to some of us) has been in my life for over 25 years. We have shared many events of our life and our children with each other and found joy in just knowing the other was safe and happy. He will be leading the way in this better place. I am thankful he was a part of my life and my heart.

I met Chuck when I was in High School while having dinner at the Barron's. Later, Chuck married my Sister, Barbara Leal. Throughout the years of their life together, we enjoyed times with family from both sides. I lost touch with Chuck over the years, however, I thought of him each time I passed the location of the Barron's restaurant and utilized the knowledge I gained about the restaurant industry through Chuck's stories. Chuck and his family are in our thoughts and prayers. I will...

For many years I spoke to Chuck several times a day in the course of our business dealings. My memories of him are not only of his intelligence, & wise decision making, but of his big heart. I came to value his friendship over the years and he will be greatly missed. May his family find the warmth of his arms around them from Heaven as his friends surround them with it here.

I cleaned his home for 12 years and he became a best friend from the beginning. I will miss his stories and advice but especially his laugh and smile. I was honored to know him, my family will miss you terribly.

"Gramps", as he was known to close friends of Chris and Lana, will be dearly missed. A great man to whom I always looked forward to seeing during holidays in Tucson, and who always seemed to have a good story and some good advice. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Chuck was a long time friend of mine
and I cherished our times together visiting Las Vegas and also playing an occasional round of golf. He was a great friend of George Atwood who frequented with others, including me, the Baron's Restaurant a great place that Norm and Chuck created, noted for it's wonderful food and congeniality. Chuck will be missed by many of us. He was a great guy.
