Not sure what to say?

I just recently learned of Gene passing as I was talking about him to a window company looking to do business with us. Gene was a class act always thinking outside the box and could draw the most explicit and accurate detail drawings on the back of a napkin. He was one of a kind and left a huge void in the industry. I will miss him dearly. Stan

I was sorry to learn of Gene's passing. I had the privilege of working for Gene, Joan, Rodney and Joel for many years at A-1 Glass. Gene had a big heart, and he gave so many young men the opportunity to learn the glass business. I pray that God holds the family close as they journey through their feelings of loss and sadness.

Joan, Joel and Roxanne - Words are so inadequate when it comes to Gene. He was a best friend, a mentor and sometimes Dad to me. Working with him in the window business through the years has made me realize how fortunate I have been to know such a man. Gene will definitely be missed. May you continue to feel God's presence in the coming days. You are in our prayers and thoughts..

Thinking about you Joan,Joel & Roxanne. Gene was one of the coolest dads that I knew of. The times Joel & myself as well as many other friends that stayed at the lake cabin, were some of the best!! Gene & Joan were a big part of the good times! Your family will be in my Prayers.

Sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I was fortunant to know and work for Gene at the glass company in Lubbock. (I was Janice Newton at that time.) Those years are special to me. He taught me so much during that time. He never put limitations on what I could learn in regard to the business. That was very helpful in the rest of my professional life. Have thought of you guys fondly through the years. You will be in my prayers.

I was so sorry to hear of Gene's death. He was always such a special and kind friend to my dad, Ralph Montgomery, in Lubbock. They had a close working relationship in construction, as well. He always called when he was in Lubbock, and sometimes from wherever he was. He was really a very, very special person.
Jerry Montgomery, Childress

We will miss Gene very much. He was a wonderful man and a good friend. Love, Stacy and Nancy Jackson

Joan, Joel and Roxanne - My heart goes out to you. Your loss is my loss. I loved Gene deeply. I was so fortunate to be a part of your family. I will cherish those memories forever. God be with you in your grief. Hopefully Rodney and Gene are catching up on everything. Love always.

He was my bowling buddy and a great friend. WE will all miss him so very much.
God bless you Joan and Joel. He was a very special person. Heaven is richer today. Lou Farley
