Edith Bresnen Obituary
Born in Trenton, N.J., she was a long time resident of Morrisville. Ms. Bresnen was employed for more than 50 years with the Department of Labor and Industry for the State of New Jersey retiring in 2011. She was well traveled, enjoying cruises and traveling to various places including Ireland, England, Bermuda and Mexico and many trips to Las Vegas.
Mother of the late Barbara Ann Tickle and Harrison Bresnen and grandmother of the late Gregory Bresnen, Ms. Bresnen is survived by her loving son Walter F. (Mary) of Morrisville. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Marlene, Deborah, Walter, Jr., Brian, Barbara, Michelle, Marilyn, Keith, Jason and Tammy; her 24 great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Carol Bresnen.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9 until 10 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Chandler Hall Health Services, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940, or to a Woman's Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. Condolences may be posted at www.doughertyfuneralhome.com.

I was so sorry to hear of Edie Bresnen's passing. Edie was such fun to work with. I can hear her greeting, "How ya doin', honey!" even though I left our work unit in the '80s. Edie was someone you'll always remember. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

My mom mom was the must giving human being i ever seen in my life time. If more people were like her the world would be a better place. She had heart and was tough but loved you must when you were down. Mom Mom will be missed.
