Edith Skillin

I first met this wonderful lady when we were part of a Habitat for Humanity global village building project in Taos, NM. Edith volunteered her time doing administrative work while the rest of us worked on the construction site. I was in awe of her energy and regarded her as a very kind lady with an amazing interest in her family's history. This beautiful lady´s husband was my elementary school teacher at Viking Elementary and he was the nicest kindest man And teacher I ever had. I came to the school in 1961. I never knew Mrs. Skillin, but I immediately recognized the surname. Below is what I wrote for Mr. Skillin's obituary comments.
