Edmond Gabriel Lafourcade Jr.

Edmond Gabriel Lafourcade Jr. passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 88. He was born in New Orleans but resided in Metairie for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond G. and Rita Lafourcade, and his beloved wife, JoAnn Ventacello Lafourcade. He is survived by his three children, Edmond Lafourcade III (Lisa), Brian Lafourcade (Ann), Denise Lafourcade Totaro (Chris) and his six grandchildren Brian Jr., Nick, Andrew, and Jason Lafourcade, and Christopher and Emily Totaro. He worked thirty years as a technician at South Central Bell. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his children, and being a devoted grandfather. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Friday, July 22, 2022, 9:00 am-11:00 am at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1.
