Mr “T” ... Thompson family... I know this is late but how my heart broke when I heard the news. I cared about this man as he was a good friend and I believe tennis opponent of my father Lou Varricchione . There is an old White Sox baseball saying, "Say it ain't so Joe." I will miss our spirited discussions about the Anglican Church. Ed was a soulmate. I will also miss bumping into Ed at the Malaga Cove Post Office which always resulted in some very enjoyable banter. We shared some business interests including my client Sunkist. We proudly displayed his blue and white election signage on our front lawn. Ed was a no nonsense type mayor. We enjoyed a wedding reception at the Jonathan Beach...
