I was greaatly saddened to hear today that Ed had died. I first met Ed at the invitation of George Jamieson and learned of his extraordinary long standing support for the Amercan Liver Foundation which continued up to his death. In recent years I also greatly enjoyed his perspectives on the world economy through his inciteful seasonal commentaries from Pinacle Associates. He will be greatly missed by the many people he touched and long remembered for his many talents and support.. Jim...

I had the pleasure of joining Ed for a lunch to discuss our livers, our love of family and our interest in the American Liver Foundation. He was as plain and yet sophisticaed as they come. He will both be remembered and missed.

We deeply saddened to learn of Edmund's death. He was a long time friend to our aunt, Terry O'Brien, and she was comforted by Edmund's close involvement in her affairs. Edmund will be missed and we extend our sympathy to his family.
