I saw her only a handful of times after adulthood, but she lives forever in my heart as one of the kindest people and wonderful teachers I have ever known. Reading her obit, how funny that I didn't realize that her granddaughter was my son's teacher inn middle school!

Edna was my first grade teacher back at the old Bridge St School in 1971. I remember her as the sweetest person who cared about her students.
Then in 1997 I had the greatest opportunity to work in the same school with Edna as a colleague. She had never changed she was still the sweetest person that I remembered when I was her student.
I miss running into her at the store we always had a great conversation.
Edna is going to be dearly missed by so many.
