Not sure what to say?

Professor Birmingham was one of my favorite Professors at Creighton Law School. I will also say he was one of the most admirable men I have ever met. I regret that I didn't spend more time with him. His wit and intelligence were matched with his tact and empathy. He often gave me and my fellow students a taste of his wit but it never made the target feel bad. That is a rare talent. I am sorry I found out about his passing only this morning. I feel I should have been at his funeral. To his...

Ed and Rod Shkolnick were two wonderful colleagues who meant the world to me. Ed and Rod were also best friends, and they were my friends too. I miss them both, as I am sure the entire Omaha legal community does as well.

Ed channeled Jack Benny during Fed Tax class. He was as comfortable at the lectern as he was at the Blue Jay Bar during welcome week. He let One Ls assume he was an older student who decided to attend law school later in life. His ride looked like it came off the set of Dukes of Hazard. I have no clue how I passed his class. A great teacher with a wonderfully dry sense of humor. Can't say I enjoyed Federal Income Tax, but he included practicality in his lectures. Also my Moot Court coach. I'm sure he'll be able to argue himself into a great spot in heaven.

Ed taught me Federal Tax and was our Moot Court sponsor in the early 70´s at Creighton Law School. Great teacher and a wonderful family man. I never heard Ed raise his voice in anger. We will miss him.

Ed was my friend, my colleague and my mentor. May God hold you in the hollow of His hand, Ed. Nancy Lawler Dickhute

Ed was one of the finest men I´ve ever known. Patrick Borchers.
