He was seated in the waiting room, and he sprung to his feet as my son and I approached, gave me his ready smile and shook my hand. Mr Brooks was my Sunday School teacher, Royal Ambassadors leader, etc., and always a strong Christian member of the First Baptist Church in Buena Vista, GA. He was quite a role model for many of us. He helped make the world a better place. He loved his fishing too--seems like once he was chewing on some twigs when fishing and wound up with poison ivy of the mouth.
