I met Ed in 2001. I'm pretty sure Ed knew more about my home state of Texas than I did. I was blown away that he was willing to drive all the way to Texas for our wedding. My family ADORED Ed. They immediately counted him as family. Ed was so generous to me from the moment we met. He definitely helped make me feel part of the family. Thanks for everything Ed. We love you.

What can you say about "Uncle Ed?" His president was Charleton Heston (who was actually the president of the NRA). He was a Yankee by birth; Southern by choice. In fact I think he was an honorary Texan. He was a great story teller and he and Nan created some wonderful life stories in their time together that he liked to share (over and over!)
