Not sure what to say?

Coach burke sorry for your loss. Your dad is a Hall of fame coach as well. Lived a long great life and a true hero.

Dear Family, I was just going through web sites and happened upon the death of Col. Burke. My deepest thoughts are with you. If I'm correct, didn't Col. Burke follow behind Col. Cross and become the Battle Group Commander of the 28th in Warner Kaserne. I was his Staff Car driver at that time.

Patrice and family: My thoughts and prayers are with you during this emotional time.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

We will miss having you and your "cheery" disposition around at the holidays grandpa "George". -Cari and Alyson

Bye Dad - Patty

The Black Lion Award would never have come into being without the advice and guidance of COL Ed Burke, who served on our board. What a great American! We can only hope that somehow, someone will step up and carry on his great work on behalf of the 28th Infantry Association. My prayers and deepest sympathy to his family. Hugh Wyatt, Black Lion Award, Camas, Washington
