The face of our city and state have been changed for the better by the life's work of Ed Evans. His persona and professionalism are a witness to me. May God's Grace be with both of you.

Ginger-- You and Ed were such marvelous contributors of "good positive energy" to the Buddy Kemp Center's Brain Tumor Support Group -- Ed's great sense of humor (when one is as immersed in the medical system as all of us were, a good sense of humor is absolutely necessary!), determination and thoughtful insights made a huge impression on my husband, John Noblitt. Your serenity and attitude as Ed's wonderful caregiver also was a source of strength for me.

I'm thinking that John well may have been one of those folks greeting Ed at the end of that tunnel of light, and the two of them are probably laughing together right now about some dumb but very funny joke! Enjoy remembering his wonderful laugh.

Edd was a valuable member of the Metrolina Business Council, and I especially remember his presentation of his municipal landscaping throughout the Carolinas, and especially Meredith College. We will miss Edd.
