Not sure what to say?

Dear Fetzko family,

Doing some online nostalgia this evening, and I am so sorry to read of Ed's loss. As a friend and baseball teammate of Mark (and an "adopted member" of your family aka the kid who was always around) from about 1988-1991, your dad was very formidable in my life. I always looked up to him and he was 100% a hero of mine during those years.

I hope Marylou, Mark, Karen, Stephanie and the rest of the family are all doing great, and know your dad was always very...

I just learned of Mr. Fetzko's passing. My prayer is that God has given you peace. He was a wonderful and spirited teacher. He inspired me to pursue teaching in my undergrad work, however, psychology grabbed me. I am into my 44 year as a Regional Consultant/social worker specializing in child protective services. I am blessed to have known him.

When I think back to high school (class of '87) I have such great memories and many of them are with the Fetz. I had the pleasure of having him as a math teacher and J.V. football coach. His ability to engage every student was unmatched (even trouble makers like me). His Fetz-isms last a lifetime with his students. I can still hear his powerful voice and that says a lot about him. The success of the C.F. football program could be attributed to the Fetz. By the time athletes played varsity,...

You were a great man, Mr.Fetzko.

God Bless Ed and his family. I went to school and college with Ed and he was one of finest getlemen I ever met. I saw him at our 50th reunion and he had the same wonderful laugh and charm. You cannot meet a better person.
Bob Jones SHS class of 1958

As a former student of his from the early 70's, I am sad to hear of Mr. Fetzko's passing. He was an excellent caring teacher, patient and kind, but persistant in making a point and making sure that everyone in the class learned. We need more people like him on this planet.
My condolences to the family.

Dear Christine, Karen, Mark and Stephanie, Thank you for keeping this online. I still cannot believe he is gone. I thought and prayed for you, your mom and all the family through the holidays... the firsts are the hardest. Please know that your dad will never be forgotten. Much love to all of you.

Awesome football coach. I truly enjoyed the time I got to play under his direction. He used to call me "Doctor." I loved that!

Coach, RIP lot's of memories!!! My deepest condolences to your family!!!
