When I was 14 living in Davie Fl. I made a team of absolute champions. Coach seen something in me,He says raw talent you have and the rest will come. He made a ballplayer out of me and lessons that I still use today,What a great Coach, an Icon and a pillar for youths. Luckily I was one of those kids. Gia, Vince and Enzo,
What an amazing man!!! And how lucky are we that he crossed our path. I feel lucky. My father and my mother had undeniable respect for him. My brother loved him. Although, I remember once he came home from a game and told my father he wanted to quit (baseball) because he was so angry at Ed. Ed probably made him cry. My father's response was, "I paid $12.00 for you to play and you're going to play until the end of the season." The end of the season came and Terry...

Everyone still touches 3rd base! You're still teaching, you're still teaching. WOW !! Thank you for being a part of our lives. See you at the annual!!

Gia, Vince and Enzo -
I was so sorry to hear of Ed's passing and wish I could have been at Church to extend my sympathy to you in person. Ed was such a big part of Country Fair and the French Fry booth will not be the same without him at the helm!
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this very difficult time. God must have needed a Chef and Coach in heaven and picked the cream of the crop!
My love to you all.

Dear Enzo and Family,
I'll never forget the laughs we had the first time I met Ed. From dinner at the house to "Stomp" at the theater, your father was a true "lover of life". Not only was he a coach and mentor to many young minds, but he built the solid foundation that you now stand upon. It is with deepest regret not to have been able to attend his service. Please know that you and your family are always in my thoughts.

Coach, as many called him, brought together many of us with his smile, quick wit and winning personality, and most of all, his love of baseball. We'll remember the good times in years to come. May the love of God surround Gia and family during this time of sorrow. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Coach:
You have touched so many through out your life. I remember the first time we met,I called you to have a look at my son Sal. You and Sergio Morales were on the field at Seminole getting some work in. You worked with Sal and told me he had something and that he could not play there for a while till he got to be 12. You had him put on your younger team and play there for a while, he also practiced with your older team from time to time. All the while you always kept your eye on him...
