Not sure what to say?

As I learn more, I'm named after him. I'm the son of John Hood, son of Morris Dale Hood from Zebulon. It makes me quite proud to see he was quite a distinguished individual. God bless.

On behalf of NC State Department of Nuclear Engineering, we send our sincere condolences. Ed Hood was a great mentor and he will be missed.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)

Ed was a wonderful mentor and colleague for me in my early days on the Lincoln Electric Board. I am certain I was not the only beneficiary of his intellect and kind way of teaching. My heart is with Kay and the entire family.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.
