It has been one month since I lost my husband and I miss him everyday. He was a great man and we loved each other very much. It is with everyone's love and support that I am able to wake up everyday and go on with my life. Thank you all so much. Ed will always be with me and his strength inspires me. I know that some day we will be together again.

I just heard the news from Kathy Nau about Ed's passing. A few years back Ed did some plumbing work for my mother Helen and my friend Blake. He was a great plumber and really nice guy. He told us the story of him making turduken. Even though I do not know you personally Michelle, he spoke of you while he did his work and told us about your fishing and camping trips. I understand your loss fully as I too am a young widow, I lost my husband suddenly at St Lukes on November 20th. My thoughts...

As I've read the countless entries in this book, I'm taken back to the night when 600+ family and friends came to say farewell for now. I've seen several entries from Maitz employees. Even though I have years of memories of "Edwardo!" as I used to call him, my most recent memories were seeing that Maitz van at 7-11 every morning where Eddie and I were both buying our coffee. He had a bright smile on his face even that early in the morning! Judy, that was beautiful what you wrote. Edna and...

Our beautiful daughter, Michelle, has lost the "love of her life". So suddenly Ed was taken without a whisper or a shout. There was nothing more to be done his time had come. Just one more hour, day, week or year was not meant to be.
Ed had a big heart and loved intensely-his wife, family, co-workers, and friends. I am asking everyone to help us now. Michelle needs support from all.
We lit a candle for Ed, but the light in her eyes has dimmed, and the glow of her face...
