Not sure what to say?

I remember Ed as being a devoted Democrat. Well we lost another presidential election. My mind was spending but you know what God knows best and He is still watching us all. Only He can turn Ashes Into Beauty and I think He is working on this. Thanks for being you and your spirit is still alive in my heart. Rest on my brother we will meet again in Zion. TJ

Well Ed its been another year. I am getting older and still hitting that 9 to 5. I feel wonderful. I still miss our talks and laughs. Don't see many people from ONDCP anymore but they are still in my prayers. Hoping the best for Kathy, your kids, and your family. Rest My Friend until the Heavenly Father brings us together again.

Another year without my friend and mentor. I think about him often when I need advice and guidance. From time to time I see him in my dreams. He was one of the good ones. He would be pleased with what I have accomplished in my Federal Government Career. I owe a lot of teachings to him. Ed I finally got it right and I am still hitting the 9 to 5. To Kathy, Ted, and William and their families his gracious heart will always be with you.

Wow, Ed I know your spirit is resting. But you would be happy to know that Joe Biden has taken the Presidency. Thank God you weren't here to live thru these last four years. I still miss talking with you and getting your advice. I think about you often. Keep the light on for all of your family and friends.

Wow. This is incredible. I was just talking about him last night with my husband. The past 6 years has left a whole in my heart. I think about him often but I know that God has his spirit all wrapped up waiting for the final day when we will all meet again in Zion. What an incredible man that lived on this earth. One word I would use to describe my long lost friend is JUST. For his heart was better than this world. He cared about All People. I don't think I will ever forget him. His...

We had the pleasure to work closely with Ed in the anti-doping movement particularly through our joint representation of the Americas region at the World Anti-Doping Agency. He was a trusted and valued colleague who could be counted on for wise and frank discussion of key issues and clearly stating the views of the ONDCP. His professionalism, insight, and sense of humour will be missed. We are deeply sorry for your loss.

I worked with Ed at Lyon & Erlbaum ages ago. We spoke not that often. I will never forget one St Patty's day where Ed took me to his favorite Pub.

I am so sorry for your loss

My love & prayers to Kathy and the family. Although it has been many years since I last saw Ed, I have wonderful memories of time spent with him & Kathy.

Dear Rob and Family - We first met Ed in the summer of 1982, while we stayed with you on vacation - you were just friends. Then friendship grew into love, marriage and family.

So sorry to hear about Ed's passing - Pam told us today - 11/17/13 - I need to get my parents a list of their children names, so they can check off each name when they tell their child the information. Thinking of and praying for your family. Love Patti and Bob Baechtold
