Not sure what to say?

I was told he was a great and intelligent man, always a man of the time, whenever that may have been.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Ed Kirby. I had a great experience
working with Ed on our film "Visions of Iron" he was an amazing historian and an even better person.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Please except my condolences for your loss.

Dear family,

We are so sorry for your loss. It has been a pleasure to meet him and be able to share time with such a great man. Rest in peace.
All our love to the Kirby family.

Parra family.

Mr. Kirby noticed that and asked me if I’d like to come in his office and sit down until the bell rang and then go to class. I appreciated this and he became a bit of a mentor to me. Rest in peace old friend. Lloyd.

Later on when I settled back in our NW corner of CT, I was delighted to finally meet the man who had so inspired me to learn all I could about the iron history and to achieve both undergraduate and graduate degrees in geology and the management of...
