I grew up with the Kittredge family on Somerset Street and Eddie was the best most loving person I had as a friend. My deepest condolences to all of you and sorry we have never met.

I spent my earliest years on Somerset Street in Springfield MA, across the street diagonally from the Kittredge home, and I had memorized the names of the Kittredge kids before I was three. Barry, Bobby, Eddy, Georgie, Chuckie, Sydney, Al, Ralph, and Adele, I remember their names better than I do almost anyone else even though I haven't seen any of them in many decades.
