Dear Gloria and family: As a Special Officer with the Fairfield Police Department for many years, I had the great pleasure of working with Ed on many occasions. His calm demeanor, intelligent conversation, and fantastic sense of humor gave me great pleasure whenever our paths crossed. He also broaden my horizons in the area of pizza. I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Kovac's passing. He was my 7th grade home room teacher at Florence Blackham. He was a great instructor who really cared about the kids. May he rest in peace.
