Edward J. "Ed" Labus

Jenny- sorry to hear about the passing of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We just found out this morning that Ed has passed away and is with the Lord. Our sincere sympathy to Darlene and family. Ed was such a kind and caring man. He made the world a better place for all of us. We call on God´s love and mercy to grant him rest and eternal happiness in Heaven. Ken and Shirley Miller

Mr. Labus, he was a class-act. I had him as a teacher at Lake Central High School. I enjoyed his classes, sense of humor [sometimes dry...], very good at his task at hand. God Bless his family and payers for Peace and Comfort during this difficult time.

Prayers to the Labus family.

Ed was a very quiet, kind, and caring man. He inspired many students and staff at LCHS alike. I worked with Ed at LCHS and he was always willing to help the newbies. Rest In Peace, Ed. My condolences to his family.

I never forgot the Morton High School teacher who inspired me in electronics club. Little did he know that it would lead me to a 35 year career as an electrician. Just wanted the family to know of the many students he had an impact on. May he now enjoy his time in heaven. Joe Hussey
