Mr. Labus, he was a class-act. I had him as a teacher at Lake Central High School. I enjoyed his classes, sense of humor [sometimes dry...], very good at his task at hand. God Bless his family and payers for Peace and Comfort during this difficult time.

Ed was a very quiet, kind, and caring man. He inspired many students and staff at LCHS alike. I worked with Ed at LCHS and he was always willing to help the newbies. Rest In Peace, Ed. My condolences to his family.

I never forgot the Morton High School teacher who inspired me in electronics club. Little did he know that it would lead me to a 35 year career as an electrician. Just wanted the family to know of the many students he had an impact on. May he now enjoy his time in heaven.
