Hi Dad. Missing you today, and every day. The Pats won a game today, looked like some of your finest work. I love you.

Hi Eddie: It's hard to believe that on October 15, 2008 you will have been gone for a year. We all miss you so much. Paula got married on September 27th. Can you believe that! She had the disc jockey play YMCA in your memory and all the guests got up and formed a circle and sang their hearts out, I bet you heard us. Delores got in the middle of the circle and was happy that Paula requested that in your memory. We think of you every day and miss you very much..See you soon. Virginia

Mr. Machado was my Father-in-law. He was like a father to me and I viewed him as such even though I'm close to my own father. My regret is that I did not tell him. The world is a little darker with him gone. He was one of a kind and I loved his humor and his amazing patients with EVERYONE he came in contact with. Words can not express how I feel.
I love you Mr.M.

I'll miss everything about my Dad, but his wisdom and sense of humor are the things I'll miss the most. He was the first person I brought questions to, and the first I wanted to share good things with. Every day is hard now, but the memories that sneak up on me make me smile. we were all so lucky to know him.

I will miss the secret handshake I had with Uncle Eddie that I thought no one else knew. I will miss the silly, straight faced conversations about nothing that could go on for an hour. I will miss dancing the "YMCA". I still think I was really his "favorite" niece! Love and Prayers to Aunt Delores, Larry, Chris, Mary and all the family.

My condolences to the Machado family. I worked with Ed at Raytheon for several years and will always have great memories of the comraderie that we all enjoyed. We used to tell each other jokes and always had an understanding that they would not be off-color. His sense of humor often helped in getting thru the day and when he worked at Panametrics we still called each other to tell the latest "groaners". It was obvious that he loved his family and greatly enjoyed being a Grandfather. We will...

In 1966, when I started work in Sudbury, Eddie was there to guide me. When we both were sent to the MIT Instrumentation Lab in 1970, Eddie was there to help on the Trident project. When we quit work at night, Eddie was there to whop me at tennis . When we winter weekened in New Hampshire, Eddie was there to climb the mountain and ride the horses and drink the beer. Delores, our sincere condolences. I will deeply miss him.
