I never got to say goodbye or even stayed in touch after ted showed me such warm hospitality on a stay in New York when I was much younger. I found an old letter Ted wrote to me about my coming visit to ensure I had all I needed as he would be away. I just now looked him up to see how he was doing and have found this sad news of his passing. Ted and I became good friends during our years together as associates at Kelley Drye & Warren. We became partners on the same day (January 1, 1972). After that, we grew even closer as we worked together on numerous projects for clients and in firm administration, and I came to admire his many fine qualities even more. I will miss him.
