Not sure what to say?

Hello Sachs family, my name is Michael Buchanan I live in Dayton, Ohio & doc was my doctor & I am very sorry to hear of his passing, had I´d known I would have been there!! He was my man & an excellent doctor

Ed always had a smile with a laugh to follow. Whether it be an event, bocce or golf. We will always remember the good times.

Single Memorial Tree

I knew Dr. Sachs mostly as a physician and Wow! was he a good one & so well respected by his peers! I can remember so many times when he spoke at a conference or board, ALL listened! A very dedicated family man and friend to many! He will be so missed!

Ed was such a fun loving guy and an integral part of our golf groups and neighborhood here in Lakewood Ranch. Everyone loved his dry sense of humor even though occasionally we had to endure his medical jokes :) Ed, was a fellow native Ohioan who shared a common allegiance to Ohio State so we viewed several Buckeye football games together. And I put up with a couple of Notre Dame games as well. We´re all going to miss him dearly but he is upstairs now hitting the ball straighter than ever.

When he would take me to the baseball field and play catch and teach how to play baseball

This photo captures how I will always remember "Big Ed!" The center of the smiles, generating the laughs, and just bringing out the best of those surrounding! His dry humor and quick wit live on, and my husband and I quote a couple of his classic lines regularly. Warm and welcoming, he treated me like family and brought so much joy to my life! I´m grateful to know such an incredible extended family thanks to my close bond with my best MU bud, Kim!

From our long talks over butter burgers to our time spent on the range I will miss you. Rest in peace my friend- Rest in peace

I wanted to write for the Mitchell family in Dayton Ohio to offer our deepest condolences to Dr. Sachs family. Dr. Sachs took wonderful care of Ken Mitchell until he passed and my mother Margaret until his retirement when he and his wife retired to St. Marys and then to Florida. He was an excellent doctor who also offered compassion and thoughtfulness about their decisions on their health with his input. On May 18th we will have a Manhattan in his honor. Our thoughts and prayers are with...
