I knew Ed, and loved him. He was an exquisite human being, deeply curious, committed, compassionate. I remember this day so well, and I often think of him. I can't imagine losing any of my adult children, I am so sorry for your truly tragic and unbearable loss. Yet we manage to bear it. Thank you for publishing this today.
