15 years ago this morning, the world as we knew it, stopped. Our amazing son, brother, husband, father, uncle and good friend left us too soon. Ed, a day doesn't go by that you are not on our minds and always in our hearts.
Your memory is alive in your talented, exceptional children. There is a scholarship which bears your name. Many are benefiting from it at Oregon CHC.
Our hearts are forever broken. We miss you every day.
Until we meet again...

Bets and family!
You are indeed in thoughts as the Holiday Season brought bittersweet
memories of 24DEC....
Years do not erase the finality of that heart wrench!!
A bad dream/a poignant memory,
he lives on and on in the 'living'
and 'celebrating' of life!!
His remarkable 'Patch Adams'spirit
no doubt remains with those
with whom he worked and with whom he
caringly treated.
PEACE>

We are not to understand the mystery of why one so dear to family and community
left this world all too soon.
His goodness lives on in the hearts
of those who loved him.
All thoughts and prayers as you remember and celebrate his life today.

I knew Ed, and loved him. He was an exquisite human being, deeply curious, committed, compassionate. I remember this day so well, and I often think of him. I can't imagine losing any of my adult children, I am so sorry for your truly tragic and unbearable loss. Yet we manage to bear it. Thank you for publishing this today.
