A great voice and radio personality has left us all too soon. I am shocked and saddened. Ed was one of the last of the great ones. He always treated me with kindness and respect the few times I got to meet him. Godspeed Ed.

To the Sciaky Family: I am very saddened and, frankly, quite in shock at the death of Ed. He was a fixture on the Philly music scene. Sad and sorry over your passing. But very, very grateful for your contributions to the sounds of music across the Delaware Valley.
May the tunes of your life continue to comfort you in your eternal sleep.

I have been listening to Ed for a long time on the radio and I appreciated his sense of humor, as well as his insights to the legends Ed introduced us to. He is a Philadelphia legend in his own right, and we will miss him. God bless Ed and his family.
