Dear Nancy, Both of you have been excellent neighbors. I valued Ed's advice and help since Jerry died. He was always so upbeat, even when I knew he was in pain. He would say things like, "At least I am upright today". I was delighted to meet Reagan and her son and daughter at the gathering. I was pleased to meet Richard at the mailbox a couple weeks ago. While you were shopping shortly before Ed died, he spoke so highly of Richard. He also told me that he was at peace and was worried about you. I assured him that I would always be here for you, having "been there, done that". Please don't hesitate to call on me --day or night -- if you wish to talk, cry or just scream. I will really miss Ed, too. Love & hugs, Donna
