I am honored to have been his friend, met Ida and spent some time here with them at the Route 58 deli, Ed's favorite hangout in Virginia Beach. I will miss them both and cherish the many memories we had. The 'geetar man' as he called me fondly - Richard

I never met this man, but my heart breaks to hear of his passing. Having watched "Band of Brothers," I recognize the courage and fortitude that it took for this wonderful man to do what he did. May his rewards be equal to the sacrifices he made and may he forever rest in peace.
