Not sure what to say?

Dr. Shelly was a warm compassionate man who made an outstanding vet. He is one of the few I would take my babies to. Now his son Ben has taken over his practice and we love him also. May he rest peacefully in God's loving arms.

My sincere condolences to all of Ed´s family and staff. Ed will be sorely missed. He was truly our friend from his first days at Little Gap. He will be in my thoughts whenever I am at the vets, hunting, fishing and biking the D&L!

Our deepest condolences for the family,Dr. Ben so sorry to hear this! Best vet ever, have been going here for years! He will definitely be missed by all! Sending prayers for his family and fellow workers

Edward was my cousin, we grow up together, hunting, fishing in the farm pond, did some unusual adventure type things together, one in particular was curled in a tractor tire and pushed down a hill. We survived on our grandfathers farm. Our grandmother served Thanksgiving dinner the old fashion way, we lived in the old US ways, prayer in school, went to same church our great great grandfather started. Edward was always challenging myself in things. He a very honest, caring and friendly person.

fantastic veterinary he will surely be missed

To Dr. Ben and Family, and to the staff of Little Gap Animal Hospital, so very sorry for your loss. Dr. Shelly took care of our dogs for 30 years, he was always so patient and kind. And so proud of his children, it was wonderful to see him working side by side with his son. His intelligence and love of animals made an impact on everyone around him. He will be very missed.

Our condolences and prayers to Dr Shelly's family. He was a special vet, showing his kindness and compassion, especially during those tearful times when we had to say goodbye to our furry babies in their old age. He was an excellent surgeon, giving our labbies extended healthy lives. He will certainly be missed, but not forgotten. He definitely was a special man.

TO DR. FAMILY, I REMEMBER HIM FROM MAHONING VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB. JAN D GULDEN D M D
