Although you do not know me personally, my husband grew up in Fishtown he and his family and had the privilage of knowing your husband for almost 50 years. He was a kind man who loved his customers. I remember coming into the store and seeing Mr. Staniszewski working diligently, covered in shoe polish and/or grease, with a big smile, pleasant comment and a hug all ready. He was a true gentleman, who loved you all very much. My sympathies to you on the loss of this gentle and caring man. He will be missed.
