Edward W. Travis

I am so very sorry for your loss, though I believe I only knew your husband via your daughter, Diane, who, if I am correct, was a goddaughter of Prof Herbert Hofer. Herbert was a great friend of my dad, who has just passed away. I know Herbert greatly admired your husband too. Diane and I shared many good moments in 1976, but sadly lost touch.

Sometimes to live through shared friendships helps in loss....we really lost contact with Herbert when he was no longer able to communicate...

Edward was a man of many talents. I remember him guiding students at Dutchess Community College 45 years ago. Prayers for his wife and family.
