My prayers go out to the Tye family. I have very fond memories of him as my professor in dental school. He was a great teacher and a class act!

I´m so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you all. Please know that your loved one is safe in God´s memory (Proverbs 14:14,15). Just as he brought his son Jesus back to life, he will do the same for your loved one. May God give you comfort and strength to help you cope during this difficult time.

My family also grew up on Wilcox Street and were good friends with the Tye Family. My father was the local milkman. My late brother, Kevin Savage, was best friends with Duke Tye who might have been the youngest Tye. My two younger brothers and myself also graduated from St. Mel. We send condolences to Edward's family, and we will remember Edward in our prayers and at Mass. May he rest in peace.
