Eddie,

You were not just my cousin. You were my best friend. You were a great guy who had such a big heart. We love and miss you always.

We certainly will miss Eddie. As a friend and a neighbor of his, it's hard to sleep at night knowing that he's gone. I will certainly miss hearing him drive his El Camino and riding his bike down the street. It's been too quiet without him. I will certainly miss him.

Dear Vivas Family,
I was Edwards counselor at West Hills College and found him to be a bright, sensitive student and also watched him play while he was with us....I have a 17 year old and it breaks my heart to read about these types of stories....He was a great kid and I'll remember his smiling face in the cafeteria serving me and my friend Tracey, the athletic trainer. We would go in at 8:45 almost every morning and Eddie was there....May God Bless the family in this difficult time.
