My family doctor for years. I will never forget this man. He was dedicated , down to earth and was a friend more than a doctor. They don´t make them like that anymore but I´m glad I had the opportunity to know him. He helped us out more than you can imagine. May perpetual light shine upon him, love you Doc

Our deepest sympathy to the whole families of Dr.Edward Volinpesta. He was our first doctor in Ct in 1979 after we got married 1978 and moved to CT.our first visit. to him was to find out if I was pregnant with our first daughter(and we were). We were his patients for many years and anytime we drive through Bethel looked to see if his office was still there. We were shocked to see the news article this morning that he died of COVID and prayers for all.

Dr. V has been my doctor for over 45 years. What can I say about a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Just hearing his voice made me feel better knowing that he knew me so well and knew exactly what I needed to do to feel better. His quaint office that felt like a "parlor" was comforting and small. When he walked around the corner and saw me and said "Hey Lin" right then and there I felt better. A true "doctor/friend" in every way. My heart is broken that I will never be able to talk to him again. He was a true hero in my eyes. I miss him very much and I am so sad that he wasn't able to enjoy his much deserved retirement with his beautiful family. Rest in peace dear friend and thank you for always being there for me.

We were so saddened to hear of Dr. Volpintesta’s passing. We moved to Bethel in 1971 and Dr. V became our family doctor soon after he opened his practice on Greenwood Avenue. He was an amazing doctor, and such a kind and caring man. He will be truly missed by our family, and so many others in the Bethel area. We send our prayers and heartfelt condolences to your family. May God comfort you and bring you peace.

Sincere condolences to the entire family of Dr. V. You are in my prayers. He was a wonderful man. I remember on one visit to him with my dad, he said all he ever wanted was to be a small town country doctor. He excelled at it! He took such good, personal care of my mom and dad throughout their later lives. His compassion was endless. He truly cared for patients and their families. Dr. V you will be sadly missed. I hope you can join a game of cards with my mom, dad, uncle joe and aunt margaret, and have some cherries!

Dr. Volpintesta was more than just my doctor. He was a family friend for over 40 years. He was always there for me making me feel so much better each and every time I went. I would feel better the next day. His kindness and caring and knowing me so well was so comforting. I have missed him so much this past year due to his well deserved retirement and now I'm missing him for the saddest reason ever. May God bless his amazing soul....

I was very sad to hear of Dr. Volpintesta' passing. He took care of me one time when my primary care Dr. was away. I will always appreciate his kindness even taking time to call me to check on how I was. He was also a talented painter although very humble about that. His beautiful work graced the walls of the waiting room . They always gave me great pleasure . I send my love to his family.

Dr. V was my Doctor since i was about 5 yrs. old, I remember looking up at him thinking he was a Giant. After 45 yrs of knowing him he is still considered a Giant to me. We all hate to get sick, but knowing that I was going to see him was always something to look forward to. He was not only my Doctor he was my friend. You will be greatly missed by so many,
Thank you for everything.

Dr. V who is my doctor since 1978 I couldn’t of been more than 20 years old when I met him in today I am 67 I don’t think anybody else knew me as well as Dr. V did he was not only my general practitioner but he was a consoler someone you could talk to.

Doctor V was a great person who made a doctor's visit something to look forward to and actually enjoy. He had a great sense of humor and, as a former patient, he made a huge difference in my health and life. Bethel lost a gem and he will be greatly missed.

A man of many talents and more. He was the type of Dr. you can tell anything to and he would listen, give you advice and tell you where to go if he couldn’t.... he will be missed sorely but he was one in a million... Godspeed Dr. V ... heaven has gained another angel; May perpetual light shine upon him... much love to the family who were lucky enough to have him ....
