Edward Waller

Admiral Waller was our Sope at USNA. He gave me a 2nd Chance at an Academic Board in 1983. (I had spent 2 weeks at Bethesda Navy Hospital and missed 2 weeks of classes). He told me that I would be taking Summer school, and that he never wanted to see me in his office again. I am very appreciative of this man's fairness and kindness to me. My condolences to the entire Waller family. VADM Waller was a legend in the P-3 community. I was roommates with his son, Ed, at the Naval Academy. Ed kept a framed photo of his Dad on his desk. Whenever our room was inspected, the first thing the inspector saw was that photo. “Oh, you’re Dad’s an Admiral.
