Dear Mrs. Zambara,

I doubt you will remember my struggles with the piano in taking my two years of required lessons at UT, but I remember them and your kindness. Your husband was a father-figure to me since mine had died only three years before my meeting Ed and I remember with great fondness and joy the 5 years of study with him for my B.Mus. and M.Mus.
Ed's vocal knowledge and personal interest in his students was amazing and unmatched by any other professor that I had. Perhaps...

To Mr. Zambara’s family,
There's nothing I can add to the stature of your husband and father. It's rare to find even a few men of such character, warmth, passion, skill, and greatness all combined. He was in all these things an example to us all. Your father will always be missed, but he will also always be loved by all of us who knew him,…and in that testament alone, his was a life well lived, and we are all the better for it. Please find strength in your memories and the love he had...

So sorry to hear only now of Ed's passing. I remember my years studying with him very fondly. He touched so many of us very deeply, and it was clear that he cared about us personally as well as vocally. Please extend my sympathies to your daughters as well.

I have just learned of the passing of Mr. Zambara. He was my voice teacher for many years, my friend for over 50 years, and an inspiration for so many people for many years that words can not express how much he will be missed. My best wishes to Mrs. Zambara and the family.

Dear Mrs. Zambara,
I just found out today online of Mr. Zambara's passing. Many have said he was such an influence and an inspiration -- oh how very true. In my years studying with him privately in Boston and NYC and at NEC, he was always so supportive, encouraging and gave me the gift of great technique which sustains me today and which I gladly pass on to my students. I am so glad I still have all of my old lesson tapes which I will cherish always. What a blessing he was to so many...

Dear Athena, I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Zambara's recent death. I really enjoyed accompanying for him at the St. Louis Conservatory, and getting to know both of you. Please know I am thinking of you and your family at this time.

Dear Zamabara family,
It was ny privilege to have served under Professor Zambara's tutelage in the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra when he conducted in the early 70s. He was, musical, knowledgeable,fair, and I will always remember him fondly.
