My deepest sympathy to the Fleck family. I remember Ed as neighbor and the father of my friend, Lois, as I was growing up in Newark. The Fleck house was always a great place to be. Ed was a great dad, and although I had moved away by then, I am sure he was a wonderful Grandfather too. He will be missed.

I started at FMC in 1969 at the age of 18.I'm still here 42 years later.Ed was my plant manager at newark then.I've always injoyed talking to Ed especially about FMC stock.Going to miss Ed.I'm sure we'll meet again.

I first met Ed in 1978 when the new cork plant was starting up. I found Ed. to be a perfect gentleman, friendly, helpful and supportive. I send my deepest sympathy to Ed's family on your sad loss and will say a prayer that the Lord will grant Ed the eternal rest he so richly deserves. Seumas O'Brien. Cork Ireland.

Dear Pat & Family,

I knew Ed through the Knights of Columbus and from seeing him and your family at St. John's church. Ed seemed to do tremendous things in small ways. We, as his fellow knights, always appreciated the help he gave our council and charitable works. God bless you and your family in this difficult time.

Working for FMC, I realized that having Ed on our side was a definite asset and advantage. His understanding of issues, problem solving, and easy going demeanor made you more confident.
I know he will be missed. God bless him.
