Not sure what to say?

It was a pleasure to meet Ed and you. You and him would always light up the room, even towards the end. I'm sure he would say that he had a wonderful life. I wish you the best of luck with everything

Thinking of you and your family, Barb. There is a more complete note in your "messages". ...Love and strength, Carol Schwartz-Rath Scottsville, NY 14546

Oh no Hugs and prayers to old childhood friends.

I am a bridge player in Carteret County. It was always a special treat to see Ed at our bridge games. He was always kind, patient and gave helpful advice. We will miss him.

Ed was such a wonderful guy. I really enjoyed playing bridge with him at Henry Meguid's game in Durham. Ed was always a lot of fun, very engaging, and very smart. He had a wonderful life, and he will be missed.

When I first started playing bridge about ten years ago, Ed was extremely generous sharing his bridge knowledge with me, even though I was an absolute novice. He was kind when he corrected my many stupid mistakes and encouraging that I would make progress. Although I didn't know Ed beyond bridge, it was clear that he was a kind, generous, and brilliant person. My condolences to his family on the loss of such a man.

So very sorry for the loss of Eddie. We´re sending our love and thoughts and prayers of comfort to your family Steve and Nancy. May God bless you and your family. We love you. David and Babi

What a man! Brilliant, caring and kind. Most importantly, Ed was my Friend and I love him.

Eddie was a special guy and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.
